2010 Session Descriptions (Printer Friendly)
Get a head start on the competition by bringing your team to our campus this summer. Identify future leaders, learn the capabilities of your younger players and experiment using different systems of play all without the pressure of the season looming. We will make the camp competitive within an enjoyable environment of learning. Additionally, we will educate the players further in the following areas: The college recruiting process, nutrition for female athletes, and soccer specific strength & conditioning. Each night to conclude with a feature game
Coaches of the high school teams have the option to request special sessions from our staff that will cater to the needs of their team. High school coaches who accompany their teams may stay and observe the camp free of charge. Although this is our first year to offer a session specifically for HS teams, the following teams have benefitted from our services in recent summers: Signal Mountain HS, TN; Alpharetta HS, GA; Cullman HS, AL; and Signal Mountain HS, TN. This camp is limited to 16 teams.

- College Players hired as counselors for each team
- Teams will learn and play out of different systems
- 3 additional session / lectures for the players to include:
- Nutrition for the female athlete
- Teambuilding / Leadership / Sports Psychology
- College recruiting process with college coaches on staff
Elite Camps, Session I: June 9-12, Session II: June 13-16, Girls ages 9-17
The Elite Camp sessions are designed to be comprehensive and cater to players and teams from an intermediate to advanced level. The lesson plans will be designed for players who are already competent in the fundamentals of the game. Each day the campers will focus on a particular topic. The technical aspect of that topic will be trained in the morning and the tactical applications of the topic will be the objective of the afternoon sessions. The evening sessions are devoted exclusively to games, so campers will have an opportunity to apply the day’s lessons and finish each day on a high note.
Additional sessions/lectures that may be included on any given day would be: 7v7 Pizza Cup, Soccer Tennis Tournament, Dutch 4v4 Tournament, Speed, Strength & Conditioning Session, College Recruiting Panel, and Nutrition for Soccer. Daily field session topics will include:
- Passing/Receiving (Speed of Play)
- Dribbling - possession & penetration)
- Goal Scoring
Day Camp, June 28-July 2, Boys & Girls Ages 6-14, Half: 8:30a – 12:30p, Full: 8:30a – 3:30p
This session will cater to players of all abilities who have the desire to learn and improve in a fun environment. Players will be challenged in a variety of areas, but the focus of the coaching staff will be on skill development. Each day will have a theme and the coaching staff will use their expertise in administering activities designed for technical repetition with and without pressure. Specialized goalkeeper training will be offered.
Team Discount
Teams are encouraged to attend our new High School Team camp session. However, if that session conflicts with your team's summer calendar, your team can attend an Elite session. If a team of 11 or more attend an Elite session, each team member will receive a discount of $25 per player. Please be sure to have all 11 players list the same team name, so the discount can be applied when all 11 applications are received. Rooming assignments must be made by a team coordinator and submitted to the camp office two weeks prior to your session.
